Volunteers are needed to set up the show, to take shifts during the show, and to pack up the materials at the end of the show. All volunteers will receive permits to park in the volunteer lot near the loading dock. Here is a map to get to volunteer parking
Set-up Friday, May 9: 4:30 PM-5 PM
Volunteers are needed to:
Pickup supplies from store room (Need a van or SUV 8’2″ poles)
Set-up Friday, May 9: 5:15 PM-6 PM
Volunteers are needed to help set up the show.
Setup Tables and backdrops
Set-up Friday, May 9: 6 PM-8 PM
Volunteers are needed to help set up the show.
• Receive trees and setup tree displays
Sign up for a three-hour shift Saturday and/or Sunday
Members are needed to be present when the show is open.
• Keep an eye on the trees
• Answer visitor questions – you do not need to be an expert
• Be an advocate for MBS, share the benefits of joining the club with those that show interest
• Bonus….have an opportunity to meet all kinds of interesting people that are fascinated by this art form as well as an opportunity to spend some quality time with other club members.
Take-down & tree pick-up Sunday, May 12: 6:00 PM-7 PM
Volunteers are needed to help take down the show. Some of the tasks that you will doing are:
• Help members pick up their trees
• Help to disassemble the tables and backdrops and pack them up for storage
Unload Sunday, May 12: 7:30 PM
• Bringing the MBS supplies to the volunteer lot to be transported back to the storage locker
• Helping to unload the supplies back in the storage locker
