BLACK PINE – the tree is about 10 inches tall. It was not decandled this spring to keep it strong for branch selection and some wiring. This tree was not repotted in February. Tree is not winter hardy here and will need to be wintered at 37 to 40 F.

JAPANESE GREEN MAPLE – tree is about 16 inches tall.  About a 1 to 2 inch trunk.  Branches are a red color and the leaves are about medium sized for a maple at this point. This tree was repotted in February.  A large branch was removed from one location but otherwise no work from the nursery.  Tree is not winter hardy here and will need to be wintered at 37 to 40 F.

TRIDENT MAPLE – tree has a 2 to 3 inch trunk and has naturally small leaves. Potted at an angle in the pot because of roots left on but once feeder roots develop, more root work can be done. Tridents can be wintered inside at 70 F but do better when wintered at 37 to 40 F.

STYRAX JAPONICA (JAPANESE SNOWBELL) – tree is about 8 inches tall and slender – about ½ to 1 inch trunk. The tree gets little white flowers in the spring. This tree is not winter hardy in our area and will need to be wintered at 37 to 40 F.

CORK BARK CHINESE ELMS #1 and #2 – Small leafed elm that is not winter hardy in our area. #1 would make a good small tree and #2 is a bigger tree. These trees can be kept indoors in the winter under lights and they will likely keep their leaves. They can also be wintered at 37 to 40 F. The cork variety is not quite as strong grower as the plain variety of Chinese Elm.

POMEGRANATES #1, #2, #3, #4 – these are all multi-trunked trees with double flowers similar to a carnation in appearance. Will fruit. One has a fruit on it. #2 is a red, the others are all white flowered.  Flower in the spring and then set fruit.  Very hardy trees and can withstand temperatures down to 20 F if protected from frost. Also can handle heat. These trees can be grown indoors under lights or they can be wintered at 37 to 40 F.  Very hardy trees that provide attractive flowers to look at for several months during the spring. These are not twisted pomegranates.

Pricing for the trees is as follows:

Pomegranates and Styrax – $60 each

Black Pine, Trident Maple, Japanese Green Maple, Cork Bark Elms – $100 each ____________
