This annual event is the society’s biggest of the year. Many state fair-goers come to the fair just to see the bonsai display. With a lot of hard work and enthusiasm the society put on another great exhibit. Jim and Sandy Fuchs along with Jamie Wood made sure that everything got set up and the trees displayed beautifully, with help from the many state fair volunteers. The judge this year was bonsai teacher, Suthin Sukosolvisit, and there were 70 trees entered. Congratulations to the winners and many thanks to everyone who worked to set up the exhibit, entered trees for display and worked a shift answering the public’s questions about the trees. Enjoy the slide show.
